Bullard’s location affords easy access to a number of recreation opportunities in East Texas.
East Texas Lakes
Bullard is just 15 minutes from access to Lake Palestine as well as Lake Tyler West. In addition, there are numerous lakes within driving distance of the City of Bullard for those that enjoy fishing and water activities.
Wineries
Bullard has two local wineries. Moody Family Wines is located in the heart of the City of Bullard. Kiepersol Vineyard & Winery is located just 5 minutes east of the City of Bullard off FM 344.
Parks
The City of Bullard is home to the Bullard Kid’s Park. This park was a community driven initiative originally built in 2013. The park has seen multiple expansions since its initial construction which added a 1/3 mile paved trail, outdoor exercise equipment, and additional pavilions for community use. The park includes restroom facilities and is expected to add a section to the park specifically designed for children with special needs within the next year.
Bike Trails
Bullard is less than 10 minutes from the Tyler Legacy Trails System in south Tyler. This regional trail system is a minimum of 10 feet wide for biking and running enthusiasts.
